Went for a appointment, 40 minutes late going in I had to chase why I had not gone in. Even after this I still decided to go ahead with the treatment called the next day, the receptionist said they would get the nurse to call me and put the next steps together. Week has passed and still no call I would avoid, end of day your paying to go private your not expected to wait. The nurse was lovely I think they need to sort out the reception staff or who ever books you in, very poor.

Had a private operation done here, and my partner and I paid directly not through insurance. Nearly £8000. My room was basic at best, very old decor no air con or heating, tiny window. We were moved rooms 3 times as other people were in recovery and there were no beds! My treatment had to be repeated because the consultant didn’t do it properly the first time!! NEVER EVER AGAIN Considering legal action. Currently going through the complaints procedure with the hospital. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH THIS HOSPITAL IS DANGEROUS.

Great service from Spire Cardiff and their team members today. Needed an urgent ultrasound and they managed to fit me in on the same day. The team members I spoke to were polite, helpful and efficient. The care received from the consultant was also excellent. Cardiff Bay clinic didn’t even answer their phones for over an hour this morning! Would highly recommend Spire Cardiff based on my experience today.

Called to book an ultrasound, I was told someone would call me back the next day to make an appointment. At the end of the next day I called again - no answer - so I left a message. Called again the day after that, I was told again someone would call me back. Nobody did. I got fed up, called Bupa, changed my authorisation from Spire to Nuffield Cardiff Bay. I called Nuffield, had to email through the forms, within the hour I was booked for 10am the next day. I had my scan and got back to work. A few days later Spire called me to say they picked up my message. What a joke of a service.

Two weeks I have waited for someone called Naomi to contact me about a private mammogram I want booked immediately. Still no answer. I try to ring and they keep telling me Naomi will call me back, she doesn't. If you're paying privately for an immediate treatment don't bother with spire. Currently looking elsewhere. So annoyed!

I had a short stay for a hip replacement 10 Nov 21. Aside from the spotlessly clean, well-designed Hospital, nothing could have prepared me for the most FABULOUS service I was to receive. From cleaner to surgeon, every single person with whom I had contact was so professional, positive, happy, caring and supportive. I owe so much to all. THANK YOU.

I need an imaged injection for a frozen shoulder that has me in so much pain, all I can do is cry, and after seeing the consultant I handed the referral in at the imaging department as directed. I was told to call the following week and make an appointment because apparently they couldn't give me one there and then. So I called them. Ha! At least I tried!!! After an hour and a half sitting on hold, I had to conclude that the imaging department are either not there at all, or are just not picking up calls, because this length of time to wait is NOT acceptable. The automated system invited me to leave a message but when I pressed that option, it simply took me to more endless music. I called the switchboard, and they said they'd take a message through when they had time. The system is a joke. People are suffering, and in pain, and being ignored and then fobbed off. Its not good enough. This place is horrendous.

Top notch care, staff here give their 100% and are so good at what they do! They make you feel welcomed, relaxed and calm from when you first walk into the building to when you are ready to leave. If I ever need to go to the hospital again I will definitely be choosing Spire Cardiff Hospital!!! Mr S Vine was an excellent surgeon, very professional, reassuring and also has a good sense of humour. The 3 people who helped put me under anesthesia made it an enjoyable experience rather than scary or anxious one. I can't even remember going to sleep and woke up laughing, which is amazing!!! (Also, they have the best paninis/food ever!)

Had a appointment with doctor Boyce . Finished work early to make appointment. Only to be hanging for more than half hour . I accompanied my partner she was a bit nervous . Only to be asked who are you . The doctor totally lost our converdence as he did not have one positive thing to say . As to my reply to the doctor , you are not selling this very well .and wanted my partner to see a shrink . Furthermore we were sent a bill . With no email address no phone number . And asking for a cheque . We don’t own a cheque book . That’s old school . Do not use these . We are going to Turkey 🇹🇷 where they care about there patients . And half the price

First class treatment, giving personal attention, and excellent service. Mr Stuart Roy, the orthopaedic surgeon is first class, and is very professional, reassuring, and a pleasure to deal with .His support team, ie. The anaesthetist, nursing staff, catering, admin staff etc, all deserve thanks and praise for their professional approach.
