During Covid, I use my own shopping bag, so as not to touch the potentially filthy baskets at stores. I do not fear Covid, it’s just a more hygienic way of keeping hands clean during a pandemic. Imagine my surprise, when, whilst paying at the checkout in this Spar in Barton, Oxford, I get accosted by an aggressive woman, screaming that HER RULES are that I use a basket, and NOT my own bag!! I assume she is the manager here. So, I explain that MY rules are that I utilise my own bag for reasons mentioned, and have had absolutely no problem at Tesco, M&S, Waitrose, and other stores, even Harrods! She then pushes the point about people stealing! So, I point out there are cameras everywhere, and here I am at the checkout, paying for the goods! She then shouts that I should NOT COME BACK to her store EVER again!! While paying, I explain that I do not intend to come back, and that I will tell all my friends, both verbally and online to a wider audience, about her friendly customer-focused behaviour! It makes me wonder: what is the matter with idiots like this! They will only undermine their own business by this kind of aggressive rude behaviour. Therefore, I use, and recommend, an alternative store to this one, and suggest you might do the same! Good riddance to this angry harridan!

Opens when they feel like it, wife of owner is very rude, ppl do what they want in the store, always stock on the floor in the way , 6:30 a.m. and not open as usual, this convenience store is not very convenient.....
