Post office closes for 20 mins or 10 mins on a regular basis . Not a very reliable service . Often have to go elsewhere. Staff outside regularly smoking then going back to serve without washing hands . Often staff are engaged in long conversations while you are left standing in the queue to their friends or amongst themselves . Handy for basic items and cash machine .

Unreliable services, high prices and low quality of foods. The post office here is a complete mess - 2 out of 3 times the 'system is down' and the store still advertises collect+ which they no longer run. It is about time this store was replaced by a Co-op, which seem to be managed much better in York and actually provide a good service to the local community.
