I made a long journey to place flowers for my mum who passed away 12 years ago today. The memory book had not been changed from yesterday, so I was not able to read Mum's memorial which was a great shame. I don't think it is much to ask that when you unlock the building the book is open on the correct page.

every few days we go to the memorial garden to put fresh flowers on my mum and dads headstone and while it always looks tidy there's always lots of flowers that could be thrown away but i am guessing the staff leave them to the families to do. Today when we went i instantly noticed that the staff had been cutting back the bushes and generally tiding up the headstones it looked amazing and want to say a big thankyou for your hard work it was a pleasure to walk to my mum's headstone tdy . thankyou again xx

Arrived at four ten to find rememberable book room locked. Unable to leave flowers. Grass looks more like a meadow and badly needs cutting. Dead flowers left around. Needs a good tiny up. Will go back tomorrow with a pair of shears and a bin bag.

Unbelievable. I come to visit my Dad at least twice a month. I can't remember when the grass was last cut. The last time I came was two weeks ago and the grass was about 12inchs long. There was also lot's of litter about. What's happened! Bristol South Crematorium used to be so well looked after.
