Small world restaurant and tapas bar

It was amazing ☺☺ the food was just like being in Spain. 😊😊 the whole experience was the best. The Book of Meats was something very unusual, very informative. The Egg Box for dessert was fun. What a fantastic evening, we enjoyed it so much we have already booked for my husbands Birthday. We booked with Small World after seeing it come up as number 1 restaurant in Torquay, we were not disappointed and we can see why it is No.1. The menu was exciting and the food delicious with new takes on some well-known themes. They recommend that you each choose 2 tapas items from the main menu and a side dish, you can have more but they are quite filling. We also shared a bag of fresh artisan breads. We had desserts and a lovely bottle of wine, there is a nice wine list. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is spotless and properly cleaned down after each customer. Safety procedures were excellent with nearby tables having large portable screens between them to prevent any accidental contact, etc. Definitely worth a visit, but you need to book. Slightly pricier than some restaurants in the area, but not excessive and it is well worth it.

Went to Small World for a family birthday dinner. Everyone had a great time and there was something for everyone, as we had gluten free and vegans in our group as well. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely amazing food, experience and service. The deserts were so much fun as well as very yummy. We have already booked again for next month.

After eating here with a large group of people a couple of years ago, I had been shopping in town and passed it again, by chance at 6.15 I asked if I could have a table, they were obviously going to be very busy soon with x mas parties etc , the way the tables were layed out, however the staff and lovely lady "at front " were so warming and accommodating and found me a table,which I appreciated very much, I assured them I would "eat up" and free up the table. The food here is just the best tapas I have ever had, in my humble opinion, the chef is a genius the staff friendly and helpful, not too much which is important. I would recommend Small World Tapas with a Positive intergalactic menu choice to anyone. Thank you Small World Tapas and Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

New menu today, absolutely amazing food. Favourite was the arancini, also the terracotta pot was a close runner up. Great service too, very relaxed atmosphere, very reasonable pricing. I'll be back for sure. Well done guys.

So they still seem to be social distancing but I thin that works here. The server was awesome very helpful in the description of the dishes and the number you should start with. So the ribs are marvellous, the belly pork divine, the curry lovely and the wine great! Value for money and taste this place is great. Highly recommended!

First time here and it was good. We went on the first night that they were doing there Christmas menu and they were up front that there may be a few delays or hiccups because it was so new which I really appreciated the honesty of but tbh we didn't really have any issues. Everything we ordered was really tasty, the service was polite yet relaxed and informal which I really liked and the price of our meal for what we had and how full we felt when we left was reasonable. I was happy to pay the bill and leave more than a 10% tip, they definitely deserved it and most importantly, we will be back!. Can't wait to come and try your normal menu when that comes back in the new year. Thanks guys, keep doing your thing.
