Slam Star Karaoke brighton

The service is ok but the drinks are weak, the toilets are not clean and never any hand soap!! I love the karaoke room's but the equipment is sensitive so if your looking for a fun pit stop this place is good but don't spend your evening there!

How is this a "Business" This weekend was a shambles. the staff couldn't cope, they had no idea what to do. One of them told me they had never done bar work before and tonight what the first night! It was a free for all. We were leaving around 1am which is when they decided to close. The place is a tip and nothing worked. No one could work the till or card machine...

I would put ZERO stars if I could. The staff working last night were a mess. It was early in the night too and both were gurning so hard, falling all over the bar, sweating. The "manager" was not subtle. We're talking buckets of sweat and bug eyes. This business is a shambles, if there was an emergency and the staff had to act for people's safety the place would be a death trap. Drink service was slow and confusing for both members of staff, not to mention expensive. The only person who looked like they were in control was the door staff. You could tell from his face he was suffering like the rest of us. Avoid.

This was so fun to do. We were 8 and did this for a friend’s birthday. Good playlist with a lot of genres. Staff were welcoming and helpful when we needed with the microphone. Would definitely recommend. We got the Groupon offer which was really great price.

Good fun. Reasonably priced compared to similar places. Drink service could be a bit quicker but had a great time.

This place is a guilty nostalgia for me, it reminds me of my years living in Asia and going to K-TV bars, something I never did before that. The hourly rate and the drinks are very reasonable and they have a good selection of the latter as well as songs to choose from. They have 2 rooms that you can get 15 to 20 in so can manage birthday parties etc; I would book ahead of time. Apparently they have a Groupon offer for first time customers that is really cheap as well so worth looking for that maybe.

Excellent night here. Love that this place didn't increase its prices for the bank holiday like its competitors. The staff were super accommodating and even moved us to a bigger room when our group size grew unexpectedly. Kirsty was so friendly from booking to receiving us at the venue and even let us stay for half an hour extra. Absolutely fantastic service...will return for sure!

I had booked and paid for a deal on Living Social, received a confirmation email, arrived and the bald bouncer outside asked the name of the booking - he went inside and came out straight away saying that I shouldn't have been able to book the deal on a Saturday and that my booking had been given to someone else - he shoved some cash at me and said that's your refund. They obviously had people turn up who were willing to pay more so just gave my booking to them. Very poor way to treat people - ruined our evening.
