Great little hideaway in town. Quiet and chilled in the day and lively at night, often with live music on the weekends. The staff are friendly and the food is decent and very reasonably priced. There's a pool table out the back and a nice little pub garden. Some great ales on tap. Along with the avery easily the best pub on Millroad. Very deserving of the 5 stars.

A few weeks ago, my mom and I arrived in Cambridge after a long flight from the states. Dragging our luggage, we stumbled down Mill Road, looking for somewhere to eat. We headed toward a pub that google recommended and upon reaching the building, we briefly stood stupefied in the street. Thankfully, the kindly landlady was in the street and immediately took pity on us foolish Americans and upon being told we were desperate for food, lead us inside. While the options weren't numerous, they were tasty and filling and exactly what we needed. Upon learning we were newly arrived, the landlady gave us many good tips about what to see and do. We never would have known about the cathedral at Ely without her info, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We were very grateful to have found such a kind and genuine welcome at Six Bells.

Proper pub just off the main road. Little bit of outside seating at the front, some more outside space at the back with picnic style tables and umbrellas. First time we've been as we were having a weekend in Cambridge. Young lady serving at the bar was nice, and the patrons seemed friendly too. We've put it on our list of pubs that we'd go back to if we're in the area again...
