We were due to stay here beginning of Oct for a function we were attending, I had this booking booked a year in advance & got a very good rate @ £80… about 5 days before we were due to stay I got a email telling me it’s getting cancelled due to maintenance work, they wasn’t bothered in the slightest that my stay was now ruined, I got a email saying we can send you pictures if you like & just abruptly told me to basically deal with booking.com, who may I add tried to find something for me but everywhere was just so expensive at the last minute, therefore we had to cancel everything…. Yet at this time they were still advertising apartments to stay in not a mention of moving us to one of them, but then again they were now double what I was charged, god forbid they would lose money , not a care for there customers, never again Weekend ruined …

Not even worth a star but couldn’t continue without putting 1. I would highly advise not booking with these apartments . What was supposed to be a beautiful day/night celebration of my 30th birthday turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I had booked in advance for an apartment for myself, partner and family from london. I paid in advance also. However the morning of the day we was due to check in I received an email from booking.com to say the room had been cancelled. I was so confused as I hadn’t cancelled this. I then called the reception for the apartments and spoke to a gent, who when I asked what had happened said ‘I cannot tell you, you need to speak to booking.com sorry’ I found this very rude and it was as though they were passing on the blame. I then spoke to booking.com who then told me they had ‘over booked’ so it was actually indeed the fault of the apartments, booking.com then tried to change the reason to say something had broken in the room and couldn’t be fixed, which I know is a cover up considering I work in a well established hotel myself. I then had the stress of trying to find and pay for another apartment due to not even being able to get a refund from them until 12 days. It was so stressful for a day that should have been spent enjoying my time with family who travelled all this way. So unprofessional and at least next time speak with the guests direct instead of deflecting the situation away from yourselves.

Hello I have recently stayed at dream apartments and want to register a complaint. I recently encountered unfair treatment which is the reason for my complaint. I recently stayed at the dream apartment and upon going back to my apartment in the early hours of the morning I encountered the receptionist. The receptionist informed me the hotel needed to ask guests to leave their rooms soon. I spoke to him and asked if I could pay for a late leave option. He informed me that I could do I paid the additional fee for this service. The receptionist then went on to make a rude and aggressive comment, to which I decided to return to my room and try to ignore it. I slept in my room and a few hours later he came to the room at 11:30am and opened the door without permission and forced me to leave the room. Whilst the room was booked till 11am I thought the way the situation was handled was very unfair and unprofessional as I was not trying to make problems. I want to bring this to your attention as I feel I have been mistreated in the situation.
