Shotover Country Park oxford

Oxford can be wonderful or slightly mmmmm depending on what you are looking at but this park is a gem. Lots of natural open space. Very popular with runners and dog walkers.

Great place to go for a quiet walk or with family and dogs. Nice and tidy and the walking routes clearly marked out.

Really nice for a walk. The woods are nice and there is plenty of parking. My only gripe is some of the pot holes in the car park potentially reach all the way to Australia.

Lovely walk and easy to get too. We did it in the rain but I would advise not too as we did slip over a few times haha! 3 walks to choose from and very well signposted

Glorious, wild, other and secret. Shotover is a place I've visited for more than 40 years and loved forever. It is a magical wooded playground.

Seems a lovely little country park. Visited whilst family were in the hospital and did the 20min walk. Its very hilly so be aware. Looked a great place to ride a bike.

It's just sooo relaxing. You can enjoy nature as it's best. You can run, jog, walk, cycle, walk the dogs or the children 😂☺️ love it all weathers. Some people keep themselves to themselves (with a polite good morning/afternoon), others don't mind a small chat. It's lovely to see people from all backgrounds, young and old enjoying this very special place. Watch out for horse poo, as my dog loves rolling on it 😭

Fantastic park, free parking and lots of space to adventure with the kids !

A woodland park, great for exploring and a stomp through the trees with 3 different marked out trails. Ideal spot for a picnic and letting the children off the leash to climb trees and discover their inner explorer. Paths are not flat or gravel/tarmac so not suitable for buggies, wheelchairs. In wet weather expect it to get muddy.

It was nice to explore Shotover Country Park. The area offers us a wide range of 🏞natural beauty, 🌬fresh air, 😍calms our mind a lot. The area is very neat and clean... 🐴Horse path, 🚲cycle path, 🐕dog walking are allowed.
