I was put in this hotel with no choice as part of the make believe government of Scotland's quarantine for travelers from abroad. Pleasantly surprised, much better than your Holiday and Premier Inns which are normally 'bearable for one night before or after travel hotels' near airports. Good spacious rooms, and food pretty good, despite having to be delivered in disposable containers due to quarantine restrictions. I can see its well situated for central Aberdeen, and I will be back to stay here on future Aberdeen trips. Regular calls from reception to make sure all is OK. Highly recommended!

Hotel cancelled my hotel booking 7 days before arrival. They decided to continue as a Covid quarantine hotel and cancelled all August bookings. I was looking forward to our family holiday in Aberdeen. Ah well maybe next year with an alternative hotel that values it's customers.

Beware when booking this hotel. My parents were due to stay at this hotel from Aug 16th - 21st for their 50th Wedding Anniversary & booked well in advance on May 6th - however today they got an email to advise their booking is now cancelled! The hotel's reason for cancellation is due to their on-going participation in the Covid-19 quarantine program for traveller arrivals. The fact that Sandman hotels have been acting as a Government quarantine hotel was not something my parents or I were even aware of. This information is certainly not visible on their own website or through booking.com. This would have been useful to know & would have certainly helped make a more informed decision at the time of booking. I recognise your hotel are trying to do some good here by helping out in the Pandemic. I am simply bitterly disappointed at your lack of transparency over it. This could certainly have been foreseen so let's not go down that route of excuses please. You've left my parents high & dry here on their 50th Anniversary. Leaving this review on behalf of my non tech savvy parents.

Amazing Spa experience. We have stayed at the hotel before and loved it and finally glad to hear a spa was opening! Liam and his team were fantastic and welcoming. A very relaxing atmosphere, they have taken great safety precautions so felt very comfortable. I highly recommend a visit! I have already booked myself in for my next one!
