Staff quite friendly. Had an issue with our room where we had to be moved to another one. Hotel nice though parts run down - holes in corridor walls, chipped paint, cracked door paint, to name a few things. Went for breakfast and though tasted nice was cold, in fact the juice was warmer than the food. Quite a few guest weren't wearing masks and I feel hotel staff should have been reminding them to wear them. Seemed to be English sounding guests not wearing ones but it's still a requirement in Scotland unless you're medically exempt.

The room was fine, the only things was that the windows cannot be opened, just air conditioning. Otherwise clean and nice. The building itself is a bit spooky from the outside.... The staff seems friendly though.

Nice clean, friendly staff. Aic condition in room was so loud and to be honest after 2 am turned it off as wasn't making 1 bit of difference. Think the ac system could do with a upgrade or service.. horrible night due to warm weather... say that in Aberdeen much 🤣

5/ 5

Staff are welcoming, as lockdown eases the hotel is opening up to be better than before, room service meal was spot on. Breakfast was table service and the morning staff couldn't be more helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. Well done to the staff 👏

2/ 5

The staff were great. The hotel is dated and feels like an 80s motel with portraits of the owners on the walls. The pillows were rubbish with no option to request firmer pillows. The food in the bar was overpriced and poor quality. I was most annoyed to find they haven’t opened the swimming pool and gym post Covid and made no attempt to warn people. That’s the only reason I booked the hotel and I won’t be going back as a result.
