Just a match of pure beauty. I love the station and the look of it is amazing. Trainspotters should go there as trains enter at least every 3-5 mins. Or somethin'

2/ 5

This station is very well laid out however, the sliding doors to the heated shelters do not work meaning that one has to struggle opening the doors which are not designed to be opened by hand. If you are waiting here early morning then expect the heated shelters to actually not be heated. This station could do so much better.

4/ 5

If only all railway stations were this good - a suoerb piece of modern architecture perfectly marrying form with function and trains every few minutes to/from Liverpool city centre. Lift up to ticket office at concourse level and enclosed waiting rooms (very necessary in winter due to its exposed location). Lack of a car park the only major drawback and vending machine drinks perhaps a little overpriced.

4/ 5

Good interchange station, quieter to change lines here than either Liverpool Central or Moorfields, although you're not guaranteed a seat when you get on the train, even during off peak times if you do change here. Plenty of shelter and seating although not always available to use. There is a toilet however there seems to permanently be an out of order sign on it. Location is decent for the Liverpool and Leeds Canal (about 5-10 minute walk away). Be careful on Liverpool and Eveton matchdays as the stadium bus runs from this station which means it does get very busy.

Interchange station with trains travelling from here to liverpool, southport, ormskirk and kirky can get quite busy and more than likely to have ticket inspectors waiting at top of stairs
