Yes it's a good library, free WiFi which is fast(ish) a good selection of dvds. It could do with a few more power sockets to plug in laptops - there are some upstairs but everyone has to cluster round the sockets in one part of the library. It would be nice to be able to spread out a bit, then we could fart without worrying about the people around us.

Closest toilets are in the market square and cost 20p which to me is a pretty big inconvience. If you want to be there for any reasonable amount of time and are fairly well hydrated or drink a lot of coffee, every few hours you have to pack everything up, walk to the market square, pay 20p, walk back, find a new workspace and set up again. Additionally half of the days the market square toilet closes 2.5 hours before the library does. Maybe i'm asking for too much but I thought something like a toilet in a decent sized public library was pretty standard. If you're just in it for a quiet place to work with wifi maybe a coffee shop is more convienent. The library is nice and the wifi is good so it gets an additional star for that, but for me it doesn't suit my needs as well as other places for a quiet workspace.
