Sainsbury’s oxford

The self-checkouts are NEVER manned. On my last visit I started the stopwatch when the self-checkout alerted a member of staff, and I was waiting for nearly 4 minutes (after which a girl from one of the manual checkouts had to come and help me). Every time the excuse is the same: "we're short-staffed". There is no reason why a supermarket branch should be permanently short-staffed, unless it is trying to cut costs at the expense of customer satisfaction (in that case, be warned that no one will want to shop there anymore). I think the store urgently needs a new manager.

No bus to it that drops off and picks up near enough to make me use this shop again other than online, the shop was always nice, staff friendly and helpful, nice food though can be a bit pricey.

Accused of stealing after returning a pre purchased packet of polos to my pocket. Extraordinary. I think I will try to shop anywhere else!

Sainsburys is regarded as one of the best food shopping places to go, they do food as well as clothes, very good quality items

A larger Sainsbury's in Oxford, stocking the basics and a little more. Most of the time their prices are slightly less than the co-op or M and S on items like mince , sugar, juice. So it helps to compare prices across the 3. The cashiers are also helpful, and the self checkout queue moves quickly as there's an assistant on hand to help. Overall, a 9 out of 10.

I like this Sainsbury's in Westgate. It's calm, not overcrowded so easy to shop. I go there every week now.

Pretty handy managed to come across certain items that I didn't think would be available in Sainsbury's.

It's really well located but it run outs of products several times a day.
