Oh well that’s it - call off the search - I’ve found a company who give 100% and make everything straightforward. Even VW themselves couldn’t find why my suspension was creaking but James and his team at SF Tebby diagnosed it straight away! I won’t be going anywhere else from now on - totally delighted. I'm a driving instructor so I rack up the miles and need my car serviced twice a year and need random repairs done quickly at late notice. I have been going to SF Tebby & Son for several years now and they stand head and shoulders above any other garage I've used. And it's not just the quality of the work they do on my car that keeps me coming back. It's the personal service you get as well. They talk to me like a real human being and are always friendly and approachable, answering any questions I have. They go above and beyond to fit me in when they can for emergencies and only ever charge for the work that is needed. I've always felt unsure at other garages, not knowing if I can trust them, but here I 100% trust what they tell me needs doing does, and it costs what they tell me. I live a 30 min drive away and I know there are garages closer to home which would make things easier when dropping the car off for the day, but I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
