Had a great stay at this hotel. Even though it is an older hotel, it is well run and maintained. The included breakfast buffet was outstanding. Pool facilities are adequate, although placing some shading over the pool is a suggestion. Great service all round from the check in and restaurant staff. Rooms are clean although quite outdated, however did not affect comfort levels or enjoyment of stay. Very central location and a short walk to Magnetic Island Terminal and Townsville CBD.

I wouldnā€™t even give this property one star. But I had to to submit my review.Appalling. My company uses hotels quite often. I was put in a room where the refrigerator leaked. The Aircon was way too noisy to sleep. 4 am in the morning each morning I had someone rummaging through the bins outside my window. Amongst the next-door neighbour getting up banging and clashing and playing music however Then I had a noise complaint from the neighbour next to me because I was on my phone Scrolling Instagram watching reels.. Reception came and told me to turn down. I was on my phone how loud could it have been.? Are your walls made out of paper? Another complaint -I had housekeeping come round twice throughout my visit in the week. I couldā€™ve done it better myself blindfolded. Absolutely disgusting service from the staff and rude neighbours. The buffet ā€œserviceā€ looks like a soup kitchen.
