Loved the facilities. Great for our family holiday, lots to do in the region. The buildings are aging eg people got locked in the bathroom and toilet paper holders all dropping. But good value. Definately want to go back

This was such a great find. not in the town - but close. Lovely spot - AND - they accept dogs - even treat them like humans. The Club is lovely - and the breakfasts excellent. Top staff and easy parking. We actually slipped into town and got the makings for a "Ploughmans" dinner. Superb in the room with our own alcohol. But the Club has a fine restaurant - so use it if you have the time. A lovely walk in the mornings. If you like golf (or not) stay a few days and have a round. I'd recommend at least 2-3 days - but even o/night is good. Reception staff were very good.

I'm not sure if the food is just really bad for events, but oh boy. We attended an event here this week and were warned about the food by friends - they were not wrong. I ordered a vegetarian menu and the entree was a small salad with a bread roll. For the main...... a salad with a tortilla. So, for $75 - two small salads (or plates of lettuce). My husband (who is gluten free) enjoyed the exact same meals but instead of the bread roll and tortilla, he got.... a slice of toast. I've never, ever had a worse meal at an event in my life. It's a great venue, but the food for special events need serious attention.
