Staying at The Grand Hotel is like coming home to your favourite book, glass of wine or box of chocolates. The staff are warm, welcoming and always helpful. Our last time there was after a very, very long day of delayed travel and no taxis or uber available at Townsville airport. It was almost midnight when we finally arrived and it was just wonderful to be greeted by Steven with a smile, paperwork all ready, just a signature needed and off to a quiet, lovely room. Bliss!

Spacious room with modern decor and great amenities. The location was top as it is right in the centre of everything - plenty of eateries right outside the hotel. Staff were friendly. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Townsville. Great value. Highly recommend it.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient. I stayed with my eight week old in a standard room. There was plenty of space for the bassinet and to move around. Couldn't hear the neighbours and hope they didn't hear us! Reception staff were helpful and friendly every time. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed overnight at The Grand and was surprised at how comfortable the bed was. Definitely welcomed the good night sleep. It's close by to restaurants and bars and in a good spot about 10min drive to the airport.
