Came to the A&E feeling really unwell, potential emergency. The staff was nice, asked about my symptoms. Took blood samples. But then they put me in a separate room and no one even looked in there to check on me for more than 2 hours. I know that others might need care before me, and that's alright, but I'd expect someone should at least make sure that I am okay. When I finally saw the doctor, she was really nice and helpful though.

Seen swiftly and given good advice and treatment. All I came across (and observed, whilst waiting), were SO helpul to everyone. I saw plenty of small acts of kindness being offered, from receptionist, porter, through to radiographer and nursing staff. It was clearly a busy, demanding and challenging walk-in centre.Thank you everyone.

Great staff in Renal unit, Doctor’s and nurses are amazing. My ONLY trouble is the Appointment phone line! Never answers. Three emails sent and no response - if I miss the appointment next week it will waste nhs resources. Please improve patient communication!!!! My Renal team told me I have a rheumatology appointment next week but I know nothing about it, no time, no place. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!!

I genuinely hope nobody has to end up at this hospital with serious injuries, the most incompetent and rude staff I have ever encountered and the doctors give false information. After having a severe injury and being told an ambulance would take over 6 hours, I had to hold my face together and get in a taxi to get to the hospital. On arrival nobody helped me clean my injuries despite needing urgent attention or even gave me supplies to clean and bandage myself. I sat holding my lip for 8 hours before I saw a doctor, when someone finally came out and told me I would be called in in an hour, they called me in after 4 more hours. The surgeon who stitched me up did a good job I will say that, but she said to call the hospital if there were any complications to book an appointment see her. There were complications, I called and the hospital said there was no record of my procedure, nobody put anything in my chart and they said the doctor who told me to come back lied. Someone lied, but I don't think it was the doctor, I think the staff were just too lazy to do their jobs and fill out my charts and outpatient referrals properly. Now I have to go and see my GP who don't know what to do and have said as much, that I really need to be speaking to my surgeon but of course I can't do that. As an American, I have to say I would take a system that costs a lot of money but actually works over the garbage NHS, which costs nothing and also provides nothing. I hope I never have another medical issue here, I would fly out to America and see a proper doctor before stepping foot in another NHS hospital.

Excellent and caring nursing staff. The thing that let's the hospital down is the food served. Personally I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I survived on a diet of cheese and biscuits, sandwiches, fresh fruit and coffee.
