Well done to Liverpool Dental Hospital for being rated as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission. This is amazing! We work with members of the Dental Team in Liverpool and support everything they do. Keep up the good work.

Went here after a temporary crown on my very front tooth had fallen out, through no fault of my own, in a very distressed manner hoping for some support and advice. Only to be seen by a rude nurse who told me I have to go to my own dentist (which is fair enough - I will just have to ring in sick to work and travel an hours drive away). However, I have never experienced such disregard from someone who is supposed to provide care. There was absolutely no need for how she treated me and I am angry and upset. If she were in my position I'm sure she'd be upset too.

Dr Gee and nurse Lindsay were really helpful as were the reception staff. As it is out of term time and there are no students there I thought there may be possibility I wouldn't be seen but they spent a while sorting my issue out and I now feel a lot better.

I used to come here when I was in my teens to remove four wisdom teeth out. The dentist surgeon was really nice at the time and very helpful. He no longer works there. Now they take on trainee dentist students and dentists who are not as friendly or approachable. Having worked here in the past and seen what the waiting list is like, I would rather go private than wait 18 weeks on their pathway programme to get an appointment.

Went here in severe pain, waited for almost an hour, only to be told no one was available to see me, very poor set up. Was advised to come back after bank holiday with no guarantee of being seen.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Went after I cracked a back tooth and part of it fell out :/ , turned up at 9.30 and was out by 12 after having a good inspection of my mouth, an x ray and then a filling. They are students but they are led by qualified dentists, the young man who sorted my tooth out was in his final year and did an excellent job. Thanks again. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years and always been treated very well! The students are great and they are fully supervised. Had a lot of work done over the years here and I used to have a huge fear of the dentist. Now I can come in and out with no anxiety or fear due to the relaxed atmosphere they have. Also the emergency dentists are brilliant as well as all the staff I've spoken to or been seen by!
