She listened to my random thoughts regarding the unkempt tresses staring at her blankly. It had been one year since I had a trim, let alone a few refreshing highlights. The elegant nuances Amanda employed as a colorist, along with her expert technique cutting and styling, gave my hair new life! And I look ten years younger! Thank you, Amanda!! If you are looking for a wonderful hair stylist, I cannot recommend Amanda Jordan highly enough! Before I met Amanda, I never kept regular hair appointments. At my consultation, she took the time to get to know my hair routine and my goals for my hair. She walked me through my different options and helped me weigh pros and cons of what I wanted to do. This was the first time a stylist ever took the time to do that for me! You can absolutely tell that she loves what she does! She is always working to perfect her technique and learn new ways to make her clients look and feel beautiful. She even took the time to help my teenage daughter learn how to style her hair. I am so thankful for Amanda's professionalism and sweet spirit. These things have made me a client for life!

Amanda at Revive is the best thing to happen to my hair since moving to America. I moved from the UK where I had a hair team that I trusted with my life. My hair is long, thick, coarse, curly and there is a lot of it. New stylists always underestimate it so I was so scared to put it in the hands of anyone new. After three months of it being ravaged by the ever-changing Kansas weather, I eventually booked a “consultation” (I use the term lightly) at a high-end salon downtown during which the stylist barely looked at me. She didn’t touch my hair, she didn’t ask me to take it down from its bun, she didn’t get within three feet of it. We didn’t even leave the front desk - her behind it. Disappointed I walked into my local Aveda salon on the off chance someone could give me a consultation. The hair gods were on my side because there was Amanda, wrapping up for the day. She spent twenty minutes examining my hair, brushing it, touching it, asking questions. I knew right away that I had found an ally. Amanda is so much more than a hairstylist and I happily drive 40 minutes each way to my appointments because: She is committed to her craft and addicted to growing and learning new skills She understands and applies the science of hair, recognizing that every head of hair has different needs She sees herself as your partner and wants the best for your hair - that also means she won’t just tell you what you want to hear She recognizes the roles having healthy hair and feeling good about it have within all round well being Shes a working mama who loves what she does and shows up every day to help her clients be their best selves.
