I had the buffet style lunch and it was delicious. Everything was cooked fresh to order and was really tasty. The staff were also really friendly. I would definitely recommend for a quiet place to eat but bear in mind it can take a while with each dish being cooked fresh for you.

Food was ok, service not bad, but the drinks were terrible. The gin and tonic was some cheap gin mixed with warm flat tonic. By the time it got to our table the ice cubes had all but melted. The waitress didn't seem bothered.

first time visit with friends who were visiting York. very clean, excellent service. very good and extensive menu. the food was fantastic and was an ok price that included 2 starters 4 mains and a few drinks came to £20 per head, very reasonable for a sit down restaurant meal. I will definitely return.
