I am the freeholder of two rental flats that are managed by Reeds Rains. I have over the past 30 years been the landlord of many properties managed by various letting agencies and find that in comparison the performance of Reeds Rains letting department in York has been excellent. Whenever there has been a problem reported by a tenant, Reeds Rains has liaised with both landlord and tenant in a thoroughly professional, helpful and friendly way and the problem has been resolved. As you know, the maintenance department is based in the south, and because it is not local its remoteness has made dealing with problems more difficult. As I have become older I have found maintenance issues more taxing but Emma Hadaway has always been available to make sure that the maintenance department was able to help both me and the tenant. I always knew she was looking after the situation and it was always resolved to our satisfaction. This year there have been a few more problems and I have had the benefit of dealing with Jessica Johnson. Jessica has gone out of her way to help me resolve the issues. Relationships between landlord and tenant can be difficult but she has made it trouble free. Looking after both the tenant and landlord needs a professional but friendly approach and I am really grateful for her help. She is a great asset to Reeds Rains. The lettings office in York is doing a grand job and I would not hesitate recommend them to any prospective landlord.

Annie went above and beyond the call of duty in very difficult circumstances dealing with a dysfunctional solicitor. I cannot praise her highly enough. Every member of staff I spoke to was extremely helpful
