PureGym York york

Been coming here whenever I visit york I’ve the last few years. Roughly 20 visits a year. They NEVER have their weights in order or pairs. Why they couldn’t have sorted this a long time ago I have no idea. Everything else good.

Worst gym in the world, attracts allsorts of vermin because its so cheap. Try getting hold of customer service... Not a chance, no phone number, nothing... Just an email address that they send auto emails back from. Joke of a gym! I predict they will be out of business within 2 years. Would never recommend to join, so don't try buttering me up with a reply.

Decent equipment, decent classes, affordable and plenty of parking. What else do you need from a gym?

Great PureGym. Love the open plan design and plenty of machines to workout with. As with most other PureGyms, you're unlikely to get access in the weights section during peak times.

Never been much for the gym and I am somewhat body conscious and hate to be watched but it's a friendly environment and you can work at your own pace or get help from any of the helpful staff. Make your own training plan or have one of the fitness experts tailor one for you. Can't recommend enough!

Good gym, although can be very busy. Main problem is there isn’t enough of the most popular racks in the weightlifting area. Only two benches, which definitely isn’t enough

No contract, great offers, clean and tidy, excellent pure gym app, fantastic atmosphere, great equipment. Highly recommended A++

Very well equipped, very well equipped and easy to use. Friendly staff, great services and not very expensive especially considering the wide range of benefits. I would recommend it for its wide range and quantity of weights equipment.

It's fine for the price but it's not as clean as it should be. Men's changing room sink it not clean shower area could do with a mop so could the rest of the changing area rubbish lying around.

The machinery is fine, clean,but I feel a little help from staff to understand gear better than doing it myself
