We have used Purdie & Co on more than one occasion to both buy and sell property. Both times we were very impressed with the service we received. Most recently the property department pulled out all the stops to get our flat on the market in a very short time. They were informative, thorough and responsive throughout the selling process. They also offered sensible, plain English legal advice during the buying process - remaining available and approachable throughout. Well done Purdie & Co for making a very stressful time much more manageable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Had an issue with a notary on a DBS that got rejected from the FCO which made me lose about a fortnight of time before I could apply for a visa. Mistake was acknowleged with sympathy and rectified without cost and my rejection letter was photocopied by the solicitor to consolidate learning. Was initially frustrated as it was my first ever time dealing with a solicitor, however the solicitor’s ability to deal with the issue gave me the assurance that it was a once-in-a-blue-moon issue.

I bought my current apartment through Purdie & Co in May 2018, and everything was very efficient and trouble free - everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional! From the process of initial ofer through to the actual detailed legal work on the sale, I was very happy with everything.

Purdie & Co were recommended to me by Savills as I needed help selling my current flat and buying a new one. And I needed this all done within a specific timeframe. Nicki the Property Manager was just brilliant. I had my flat on the market within a week and sold after 3. Never once did I ever have to chase up as Nicki was taking care of everything. Michael the solicitor was extremely friendly and patient with my many questions and would always call or email back. Overall an extremely professional, efficient and friendly service.

Was using their services for property purchase and I think they have done a good job during a busy period. I did not have any delays and was able to finalise everything and move in on the agreed date. Fees are similar to the rest of the market. They were clear on the documents I need to submit and once that was done it was all smooth sale from there. Just keep in mind that you need to be proactive too and get your insurance quotes in advance so that you can submit the application once they ask you to provide relevant reference for the insurer so the sale can proceed. Purdie & Co have handled property sales and purchases for us many times over the last 21 years.
