4/ 5

General feel of hotel is grand, combining a good blend of heritage, location, luxuriousness and service professionalism. Newly renovated rooms offered a clean, comfortable and spacious experience. However, much further work on soundproofing can be done, particularly to the seals of the balcony doors. Very loud sounds from the birds and performances at the casino across the street can still be heard late into the night (12am-2am). Room servicing also not very consistent. Some days fresh towels, water and other amenities were given, other days they were not. The hotel restaurant did not offer a very consistent experience either. While the food was of good decent quality and value, wait times between meals were long. Staff were not very professional either. On one particular night where the restaurant was only half full or slightly less, we were not given the full set of menus until we asked for them after being seated for a while. Staff also did not approach once to ask about the meal or refill our water glasses over the course of dinner (approx 2 hours due to slowness of the kitchen). Left that night with a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth. Overall, our 7 night stay was enjoyable and satisfactory. However, due to several issues as listed above, only a maximum of 4/5 stars can be given for this particular occasion. Hoping the hotel will further improve with time.

Great hotel in a very convenient location in Cairns. The newly renovated room did not disappoint - the decor was inviting, the room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The kids absolutely loved the swimming pools. Breakfast was fantastic as well. But the best part of all was the view from the balcony over the marina - just breathtaking. All in all, would love to stay at the Pullman again on our next visit to Cairns.

5/ 5

I’ve stayed in this hotel with my family for 7 nights. To start with, all the receptionist without exception are well trained welcoming and very professional. Rooms are very clean, delicious food ( Coco restaurant ) , daily room service, beautiful pools and spa, excellent location and walking distance to everything as it’s located in the heart of the city. Would I go back again ?! without doubt the answer is yes %100.

I thought the room was very dated for a 5 Star hotel. Paint peeling in bathroom and woodrot in the wall at the lifts. (Floor 13) shower over the bath, not advised of. Which made it hard to get in and out. Stayed in 5 Star hotels in Thailand far better than this. Would rate this place as 3 star.
