My pregnancy care was amazing, extra scans just to be safe - the assessment unit saw me whenever i was worried and reassured me. I had my labour induced and the midwife was brilliant however the midwife i had whole in labour was terrible. She didn't care at all. She told me to stop using the gas and air even though it was helping my pain and there was no other reason to stop using it other then "your not far enough" which wasn't good enough to be honest. I ended up having an emergency section and the theatre staff where all amazing, making sure i was happy and not scared. Baby then went to neonatal unit as he was unwell and the nurses and doctors where amazing, they looked after me and baby. There was an incident where overnight they had given a dummy to my baby without asking me first, which was resolved by the nurse in charge. Then on Lyndhurst ward things took a turn for the worst and i was treated terribly by midwives because of reasons i wont write here, however one midwife accused me of smoking drugs while at the hospital and phoned social services. (Drugs test proved negative) outraged. Wont be having any other children here at all.

Incredible service and patient care given to me whilst staying on the F4 spinal ward. After receiving emergency spinal surgery the care could not have been better. All of the staff were very accommodating and attentive. Meals were fantastic. Great choice and plenty of options with 24 hour food service if required. But a special shout out and we'll done to my carer Monica for being so incredibly kind not just to myself but to all of the patients. She came on to shift everyday with the most incredible cheerfulness. Always willing to help and spoke to everyone with dignity and respect. She's one in a million. Thank you. 😊

I haven't been to the Princess Anne for around 3 yrs and had forgotten just what a lovely, reassuring place it is. There is something soothing for very frayed nerves to be surrounded by other women all kind and pleasant, all sympathetic to female health worries. Girl power at it's best! Brilliant!

My daughter was born just over a month ago in the Princess Ann. All of the staff were so friendly and professional. It made such a massive difference to my wife and I to feel so well supported and cared for. It was clear that some staff were just exhausted, having to make up shifts with so many colleagues shielding/in quarantine and yet they manage to put so much energy into creating a safe and positive environment. I cannot over emphasis how grateful my family and I are to you guys. Thank you so much.
