Truly appalling service. If you are a business DO NOT USE DROP AND GO FACILITY AT THIS BRANCH!! parcels for 1st signed for were given to this branch at 1.40 PM and they left them in the bag unprocessed. I arrived a day later to be told they still had not been processed and dispatched even though I was assured they would be processed on the day they were given to this branch. The manager said Drop and Go must be given by 1 PM but the other member of staff stated they would be processed as they were received by 1.40 PM. Totally useless branch. If I had known they would have not been processed, I would have just stood there why they did them in front of me. You cannot rely on this office if you have a business and I do not recommend it.

I don’t agree with the overly negative reviews on here, they are most likely posted by exaggerating impatient customers who will have been there during a particularly busy period (say a Saturday or lunchtime) where a queue should be expected. Coming from a retail background myself, being nasty to staff will get you nowhere. Be nice to people and people will be nice back. Simple. I especially want to mention the lady (I’m not sure of her name) who helps out at the self service machines in the Churchill Square branch, as she is always so helpful and polite. I often go in on my lunch break to post a few things and am able to do so very quickly and easily with her help.

The Churchill Square location often gets busy, but so does any large post office. I don't understand all the complaints here. You can't hire bucket loads of more staff just because you have the odd busy period. Staff have always been polite and efficient, which when busy is a miracle! Maybe just do them a favour and be prepared and don't expect them to do things they obviously couldn't do. And if you're nice to them, maybe they're more likely to be nice to you!!

Very central but due to the lack of nearby competition the service can be a bit slow. Not the fault of the staff whom I've always found to be very friendly and efficient. The introduction of a few self-service machines has made a huge difference. Easy access.

Post office on Preston Drove, Fiveways. The owner is always very helpful, courteous and attentive. (I'm sorry but no way can I say that about the staff, as recently I was virtually ignored because they couldn't answer my question and were more concerned with serving the person behind me in the queue) The owner served me this morning around 08.30 with a "signed for " letter. (and they open around 07.30) You wouldn't be able to do that in WH Smith! Five stars if you are lucky enough to get there early when there's no queue and catch the owner.

Always a ridiculously long queue and not enough counters open. Having visited at varying times of day the situation is the same regardless. Self service machines can only perform a handful of specific tasks meaning they are usually empty, not that this stopped two members of staff being utilised to monitor the three self-service machines on my last visit, despite only two counters open for the queue of 10+ people waiting.

I really don't like to give bad reviews, but honestly the queues at this place are almost always abysmal. I've been using the post office for years since it's the only one open by the time I finish work. Lately it seems like most of the nice staff have left, only leaving the ones that are often grumpy and impolite. I sympathise that it must be stressful being so understaffed, but It's not an excuse to take it out on customers. The young staff there are always lovely (hense the 2 stars instead of 1) but aside from them it's often staffed by people who are snappy and clearly don't want to be there. Also, closing at 4pm at the busiest time of year??? Not ideal...

Travelled some distance to use this Post Office as it opens later, on a Saturday, than our local one to be told they shut 3 HOURS earlier than advertised. I'm done with Royal Mail and the Post Office. They, obviously, don't care about their customers. I will stick with Hermes.
