I like this post office and the people who run it. They have always been polite and helpful to me, sometimes going well out of their way to help out. I have a pretty good idea why they are getting slated here by a few though. I've seen the woman who works there give at least as good as she got from entitled people.. ..

Friendly local post office, I went in and my parcel (that I was taking there to post) had come open - they sellotaped it without a second thought. Sometimes they are open but have to shut the front door to close the post office when there's only one person working - knock if it looks like it's closed early. I'll be coming again!

Good opening hours and the guy who works in the shop section is really nice (he deals with parcels sometimes too). I've not been to the dedicated parcel section/spoken to the lady because that part of the shop is usually shut when I get there. Shame you can't do label-less returns here and have to go to the Royal Mail office on North road.

5/ 5

Nice post office and a really hard working post master. This shop has bent over backwards to continue to offer a wide schedule of opening hours, this not only assists the public but businesses too. No post office is a get rich scheme and despite the slashing of payments it’s great to see a post master continuing to provide that level of good old customer service. I note people’s comments on some of these reviews about friendliness, there’s more to that picture than meets the eye with the older lady in particular, she’s hard working and tries her best. The service is efficient, the small team are friendly, but perhaps direct in some cases. I would def recommend this office as one of the more efficient ones in Brighton, if you fancy trying a bad one, go down the dip just 5 mins walk away

Terrible staff, incredibly miserable and generally unhelpful. The owner has no customer service skills and talks down to his customers like school children. Avoid if you can.
