5/ 5

I signed up for the somatics course following a recommendation from a friend. I found it very helpful to reduce lower back and sciatic pain. Alison delivered the training in a very relaxed and professional manner. She made sure to spend time with each member of the class paying attention to individual needs. I loved being able to join the class from home via Zoom and the follow up videos and exercises she gives after each class are fab. Highly recommend.

An excellent service provided by a great therapist. If Alison doesn't know it about massage, somatics or anything to do with muscle therapy then it probably isn't true. Highly recommended

5/ 5

Having suffered from neck and upper back pain for quite a few years, I can highly recommend the Somatics course delivered by Alison. The gentle movements help improve and manage chronic pain. It also improves the awareness of your body’s ability to move and where the tensions are located. I particularly like the fact that for 1 hour a week, you are able to switch off and focus on your body’s posture and mouvement. Not only great for the body but for the mind too! 😊

5/ 5

I don't know if many people have heard of somatics. I really hope that my review might encourage some people to find out more. I first encountered somatics after being diagnosed with a chronic health condition. I was in my 40's and felt as if I were twice that age. I ached every morning getting out of bed and felt stiff and lethargic all the time. I don't think I am overstating things to say that learning the moves involved in somatics has transformed my life. I am so much more connected to my body. Somatics is a gentle and controlled way of moving the body and increasing awareness of how the body feels and moves. I don't ache anywhere anymore and I am more strong and flexible than I have ever been. I have known Alison for many years but I never knew how well suited she was to teaching somatics. She is incredibly clear, professional and knowledgeable and explains all the moves very well. One advantage of our current Covid 19 situation, is that I can attend her classes online all the way from Ireland! If you have any chronic pain issues in your back or joints, I really urge you to contact Alison to see if her somatics sessions might be of use to you. Many thanks Alison. Looking forward to the next block of sessions.
