Wonderful place with really good homemade Japanese food. The price is amazing too! This is definitely my place to go in Brighton. I wish they had a location in London!

Although it was a very busy day and the restaurant was almost full we could get a table for 2. And the stuff was extremely nice. Their food is just simply amazing and very cheap. We got a lot of food for a tiny price. Very highly recommended. A 10 out of 10 experience.

Decent food, super prices.. perfect for students looking for a bargain meal, had the honey ribs and breaded chicken curry with a drink for a tenner.. Can't complain!!

Great value for money and amazing food. I'm not really to bothered by rice but combined with the sauce I ate it all! Prices are so good that I got 2 starters. Top quality

Gorgeous Japanese food at a price which is sometimes unbelievable. Every portion of food I've ever ordered from there in 5 years has always been five stars. The price is the icing on the cake as you could happily feed 4 people for under £20

Food beyond reproach! Tasty, well presented and most enjoyable. It's very popular so you might have to wait for a table if you want to eat there but they also do take away. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

This place is a real gem! The food is authentic, good value and absolutely delicious. The environment is simple and authentic too, the staff are lovely and work so hard. I left my backpack by the table when I ordered and a member of staff kindly put it behind the counter assuming it had been left behind (thank you) The service was very fast, the food was delicious, what more is there to say... Go and support this business - its wonderful!

I absolutely love Pompoko. Is the only place in Brighton that serves actual good food at a reasonable price. The staff there is the best in town. They don’t come and bother while you eat like all the other places do and when you ask them something they do it straight away without any fuss. I can’t wait for the pandemic to finish so I can go and enjoy the service and the place again :)

Amazing place can't believe I've not found this hidden gem before. The food was delicious I had the fried chicken curry all great value for money. Staff were friendly will be back again :)

My absolute favourite spot for cheap eats/ takeaways in Brighton. The food is absolutely delicious and quick. I recommend Pompoko to everyone I know who goes to Brighton and I eat here at least once every time I'm in town.
