Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful, friendly, made to feel like part of a family. Great location, sea front, close to the pier. Very clean, and maid service every day. Breakfast fresh, and plenty of it. Really great place, if there was a downside, no lift, but kept us fit and got our daily steps in

Good value for money considering how close to the town centre it is. Parking available but needs booking and is an extra. NB Later Rooms didn't notify me of this. Room was small but comfortable with decent bath and shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would go back

Friendly Staff who are helpful and welcoming. Hotel was in good location close to shops but not right in it. beach right outside. Had a top floor room with bath in room and balcony.. is worth staying just for the balcony, view is amazing. The bed was great had a good sleep.

Mark makes Drakes. I have been here previously to stay and it is an amazing hotel. More recently I went for the bottomless brunch with one of my girls and it was so much fun. The food was great and we had our fair share of prosecco, but Mark our waiter made the experience. Such a talkative, nice guy who had a giggle with us. Great place to visit if you are in Brighton :)

Recently stayed here for a long weekend, from the moment we arrived until we walked out of the door, the staff were amazing and always on hand to help. The room was clean with large bath and shower. It included tea and coffee making facilities, sparkling water, sky TV hair dryer, as well as the morning paper. Room service is always available as well as a 24 hour bar. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel itself was very quite, so slept very well. Parking is also available at extra cost. The location is also very good, right on the seafront a short walking distance from the lanes and Brighton pier. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a 7 night stopover in this wonderful hotel. Can not rate it highly enough. Rooms were as described and perfect for our stay. All the staff were excellent and went out of their way to help, made us really feel at home. Ideally situated. What more can I say apart from a big thank you to the staff. We will return.

We had returned to our home city for my birthday to catch up with friends.Drakes was perfectly located for a base. The staff were so friendly and professional. If you don't mind stairs to the upper level rooms, this is the place for you. Great cocktail menu too. Want to make this my annual birthday treat.

Clean and well run. Right on the front of the sea shore. Staff were the outstanding as super friendly and helpful. Big rooms and has limited parking which we were very happy to get and note this is an additional charge but this is Brighton so no moans here. Lots of nice touches but perhaps as this is Brighton a nod to being greener and more sustainable might be the next consideration? Highly recommend.
