Terrible meal. Extremely long wait. We waited for 2 hours to receive our lunch today. 2 tables beside us had the same gripe. One of the other tables asked for a refund because it took so long, they left 3/4 full beers on their table and the 4 empty cans of coke their son had while he waited. No one came over to any of our tables to reassure us our meal was coming. Disgraceful.

Not until after our meals were ordered were we told there was a 45 minute wait on meals. 55 minutes later, after checking at the counter, we were told there were 7 dockets ahead of us. For the most part the renovations look good - except the lighting which is terribly bright and hospital like - but it seems they are jamming too many tables in with a kitchen that is ill equipped to handle the demand. None-the-less a refund was requested and granted so we can't pass judgment on meals. Could be time to update the glass ware as well, 1990s style cafe latte mugs were spotted!!

Not the nice restaurant we thought it was, more of a bistro, we arrived to a very loud meat raffle being held, upon ordering we were told there would be a 40minute wait for our food which was fine especially since the food came out in about half an hour. There was a photographer walking around taking pictures of patrons, security guards hanging around the tables. The guy at the bar asked for my wife's number while serving her drinks, and I ordered a $36 T bone steak and had to spit out quite a few pieces which were literally crunchy....we wouldn't go back.

Accommodation needs a big Reno, very old and warn. Dirty carpets, old fittings, big bits of wood missing from panels on the door. Needs some money spent on it.

Visited Pippi's last night for a birthday dinner. Myself, my wife, and our 1 year old. Clean venue, nice atmosphere, great view of the Lake. We ordered one hot and one cold seafood platter. Food came out in reasonable time and price of meals were very fair. Food was delicious and we were happy with our first visit to Pippi's. Staff were very friendly. Will be back.

Visited tonight for dinner for a friends birthday, had a table booked for 8pm, they managed to get us in slightly earlier which was great. Ordered entrees and mains, entrees served quickly and were lovely. Mains were OK, steaks were cold with one being over cooked. Didn't want to ask for assistance based on the interactions we had previous even had a to ask for steak knives. Prawn chilli was luke warm, only decent meal was the mini seafood platter. Staff were cold, unfriendly and inhospitable. Only one of the staff was actually friendly. Friend asked for condiments and was told sorry too busy once she got up to get them herself. Went to order a dessert at 8 50pm, told sorry we are closed. Not even 9pm and they wouldn't serve a dessert. Booked this based on reviews being so good Personally wouldn't recommend based on tonight's visit.
