No problem with reception staff or the nurses they have been great. Doctors are a different story. Mis diagnosed a vitamin D deficiency with anxiety and stress for over a year. Caused me to have time off work which could have been avoided. Had to keep going back time and time again. Booked another appointment recently to discuss 2 issues and stated this on my call. Was told there was no time to discuss the second issue. They are more concerned about typing up notes rather than listening to you.

A family member of mine went to visit Dr Jawad Ahmad today to enquire about a growth on her skin after she was told to let it get checked out. After calmly explaining her concerns his first response was “I don’t want your sob story” and was not at all interested in paying any sort of attention to his patient. It is apparently very difficult for Dr Ahmad to understand that patients are not particularly interested in dealing with their doctor’s little ego problems when they have bigger things to worry about. An obvious lack of care and emotional intelligence are seemingly very normal for this specific doctor. Dear Dr Ahmad, do yourself but most importantly the rest of the planet a favour and choose a different career. Your current one might be a little bit too complicated for you.

Very disappointed with Penvale Park, it’s just a satellite of Earls Barton now and I will be looking for a new surgery after nearly 30 years. Reception staff are ok but the medical staff can be rude and abrupt.

Come back Dr Patel the surgery has gone so far downhill it's unreal. I went to the surgery today for a face to face appointment with Dr Ahmad. I have come away feeling angry and that I completely wasted the Drs time. He was more interested in his phone which kept going off the whole time even after being told that I have severe white coat syndrome. Due to this I only seek medical attention when I really need it. Was he concerned with why I went in not really but in all fairness that was a good thing. The real crux of my feeling angry is the fact in no uncertain terms if I don't have regular blood tests he will be stopping my medication for a long term condition. The fact I told him that along with white coat syndrome I also have severe needle phobia didn't seem to bother him even explaining that it took three people to hold me down to get blood 2 years ago didn't concern him . Yes I have signed a medical waiver stating that I understand the implications of not having regular blood tests for what I have but I am still so disappointed in the treatment I have received. The surgery is an absolute joke now . So yes Dr Patel please come back . Edit...Well at least I now know why he wanted me to sign/write a medical waiver there and then on the spot with the fact they were being taken to court by GMC the day after fingers crossed for better doctors who have better listening skills and more compassion.

Went to see Dr. Azizzullah with my mum. Overall lack of care or interest though the matter was serious. Basically no empathy. Not the first inadequate experience with the practice. Hardly ever can you actually see a GP.

5/ 5

I'm not someone who goes to the Dr's very often. Like most people I try to carry on regardless. But today dubiously I called and requested a Dr call me as I was unable to attend the appointment I was offered. I didn't want to explain my situation to the receptionist Shan and she was polite and understood completely and was very professional. For that I am truly grateful. I then received my telephone consultation and the female Dr I spoke to was brilliant. She listened without interruption and was extremely compassionate and offered me the help I had asked for. For you this may be something little. But to me it means so much. Thank you guys. It's all very much appreciated.
