Have shopped at this shop for years , Penhaligon's fragrances are the only ones that I and my family use , although they may seem expensive they are so long lasting you need to use less therefore ml for ml they are very good value . The staff in the York store are very knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly why would we shop anywhere else !! Keep up the good work Rachel and co

Visited the store today, both ladies in store were lovely, we were served by suzie, she was full of information about the company and the scents, and gave no hard sell. I love my Penhaligon's perfume which I normally buy from Penhaligon's online. First time in this shop I found the staff to be decidedly unfriendly, I will stick to shopping online in future.

12 months ago my partner and i visited to get me a fragrance for our wedding this year but didn't buy anything at the time as we wanted the feagrances closer to our wedding in sept 2021. We were treated to the most amazing customer service from the gentleman in the floor whose knowledge and engagement with your needs is incredible. This isn't the usual retail worker, this is a professional consultation with a passionate and clearly experienced operator who listens and advised, allowing the buyer to experience a number of fragrances. We left with a sample of the fragrance i liked to be sure it would stay on my skin and was the right one. We never forgot it. Today we returned and had the same experience. The gentleman in question remembered us and the fragrance I liked but for me disappointingly the one i chose did work with my skin type and left me quickly. We discussed this and the ingredients, to be sure we were buying the right fragrance. 6 tests later the prefect fragrance. A squirt here and there and off we went with a couple is items. It will not be our last visit. I woke this morning and can still smell the amazing aroma on my skin. Outstanding shopping experience; the price? irrelevant, the experience priceless.
