I never get to see my own doctor despited being with the same doctor for many years I could not even tell you what she looks like. Very difficult to get an appointment with a doctor. I recently cut off the top of a finger & was told by the surgeon at Derriford to have it dressed every 3 days but upon phoning Pathfields i was informed there were no available nurse appointments for two weeks. Telephone receptionist attitude poor, couldn't really care. I feel sorry for the doctors as they are very helpful but obviously massively understaffed.

Left me in agonising pain for over 10 months, lied about sending referrals, overdosed me on medications causing temporary blindness and heart pains. Resulting in expensive glasses and numerous paramedics out. Refuse to see my son in practise they send both him and me straight to A+E instead of doing the Job a GP is meant to do. Do not register with this Drs Surgery as they do not provide good care, they have a massive turn around of staff, they are always under staffed, rude and late! Eventually it will cost someones life!!!! Just spoke to a receptionist and she said they are only dealing with emergencies, she didnt even ask what my symptoms were, they should really remember their place! Someone with no medical knowledge is risking lives by determining what 'they' think a medical emergency is!! Clueless springs to mind.

awful rude receptionist ,you now have to make a appointment on a Tuesday only and it could be two weeks ,my daughter has been trying for over a week and was told last Friday no appointments available because no doctors, ring on the following Tuesday none answered the phone ,would not even take a water sample to help her ,when her husband tried to explain how ill she was he was also spoken to rudely ,who is running this place !!!!!! there is a message saying they will not tolerate rudeness that works both ways

Contacted the practice, got straight through to a receptionist who was sympathetic and engaging. Had a call back from a doctor within an hour and was seen at the end of the day. The doctor who saw me was very understanding and able to leave me feeling as if my concerns were valid.

Good luck getting through on the phone, more chance of winning the lottery! Got told to ring back at 8am the next day to book an appointment when after 3 days of trying the phones are still at maximum capacity at that time in the morning. So I rang during the day which took me nearly 2 hours to get through. I can't book to see a gp on their website as the link for the online form to register for e consult doesn't work. You can't turn up to book an appointment because they will turn you away and tell you to ring at 8am in the morning. Then got told to email, but will I get a reply before next Christmas? Absolute shambles of a system. Feel sorry for the staff as there must be so many frustrated patients trying to see a doctor.

Although it may take a while to get through on the phone (this is to be expected due to high volume of calls) once through the team member was ver professional, courtesy and helpful. The doctor rang back with in the hour. Explaining my illness, what to expect etc. Offered great support and I for one say thank you to all the team members. Excellent service in these unprecedented times.
