I have been part of the OMAA family for a few years now. Ed (one of the managers) is always happy to help and provide support, making each and every member feel valued. My recent membership was dealt with by Francis in an extremely professional and thorough manner, making sure to complete all aspects of the application procedure with the patience of a saint. Their (including other front desk staff) enthusiasm is appreciated! I train BJJ twice a week. The atmosphere is lively and the coaches teach with patience and without judgement. Their love for their craft is evident, as is their skill in accommodating beginners among more experienced practitioners. The classes run in a familiar pattern with thorough demonstrations, practise and then the chance to apply techniques through sparring. All the BJJ instructors are excellent and Max Campos is an asset to OMAA.

If you earn £60k+ per anum, have no interest in fighting competitively and want a good workout twice a week this is the gym for you! Having visited many other boxing gyms, i found the £15 per session a ridiculous price. Their justification for this was that all their coaches are "champions" although they were unable to say of what. I have trained at boxing gyms with previous world champions for 1 fifth of this cost. Look elsewhere if your serious about the sport!

I have been coming here for over 6 months to go to the BJJ classes. The coaches, staff and people who attend the classes are all very friendly and professional. I've learnt so much and become a lot fitter in a short period of time. Would definitely recommend coming along and giving it a try. What do you have to lose?

Just moved here from California and was in search of a new gym to continue training Muay Thai and I couldn't be happier. The coaching staff is incredibly talented, super friendly, and most of all everyone has been very welcoming. Another great part is they have a huge variety in available times to train. Been in and out of gyms a bunch over the past couple of months and this is by far my favorite.

For a monthly membership of about £50 per month: Instructors consistently rock up late to classes, often just training during the sessions rather than coaching. The class schedule for beginners, int, advanced is meaningless i.e. you can arrive as a beginner to a beginner session and end up full contact sparring with advanced members incl. head contact and no head gear. The facility itself is fantastic but ultimately not worth the money given the poor service and management.

Awful experience. I went twice, and on both occassions the trainers were sitting around or talking to each other the whole time instead of teaching or paying any interest. It was super un-organised, so alot of time going back and forth to get equipment and to get access to the facility. They let someone who is a participant and not a trainer take over the session, and thereafter he pushed us hard even though I am a beginner and hadn't warmed up. This resulted in a serious hip injury, so I won't be able to train for a year or so now.
