This is a wonderful bakery/restaurant. The brownies and cookies are to die for. Great American menu and fun. The staff are lovely. We met one of the owners (one of the David's) and he was charming and chatted to us for a while. Really welcoming. Also a lovely space to sit in.

The vibe there is very pleasant - colorful lights and warm design, very good food and the service was excellent. I'd specially recommend to try the tarts - try at least 3. I've enjoyed the fudge, caramel and white chocolate!

Came here because we had seen the owners on Britain's best bakery years ago, but ended up having the most amazing light lunch. The Tuna melt came with the most delicious dressing on raw broccoli. A real surprise. My Wife had the Deli toast with cream cheese/Salmon which was also delicious. Really worth a visit.

We arrived around 10am on a Sunday, as a party of 10, without a booking, so we knew it would be tricky. We couldn't sit all 10 at one table, but were offered two tables of 5 and the staff were as accommodating as possible. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious and very filling. The banana and pecan pancakes were particularly good. Would definitely recommend!

Would love to leave a review of their baked goods but I tried ordering a pie but the shop seemed very impossible and unhelpful. Their website basically was not functioning besides the home page (see screenshot) so I called them hoping to make the order on the phone, only to be told it’s impossible without the website. When I asked what I should do they basically did an over the phone shrug and said “there’s nothing we can do while we’re in the shop.” Great use of technology in 2021 and superb customer service! 👎

I was literally shunted down Chiswick High St by the owner of this bakery/pancake shop. The man who (I presume) runs the shop accused me of stealing pancakes and not sticking to the shop's 'etiquette' after I asked if I could take my leftover pancakes home to finish later. I had already paid for my food but even the waiter told me that it wouldn't end well after I asked them to box my food up. After a series of expletives, the man (who is American) started ushering me out of the door and down the road while screaming how rude people are in England and that London is lucky to have his quality of service. I've never been so shocked in my life. I now know from reading other reviews and talking to a few friends who have been there that this is quite common, which is a great shame for such a lovely area.
