We have transferred over from Number 18 and have nothing but praise for the surgery. The reception staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The doctors are very caring and we have had no delay in seeing them. It is a well run and efficient practice. Well done.

I transferred from no 18. Tried to get an appointment with the doctor I'd been informed I'd been transferred to, only to hear she's left the Practice. Tried to get an appointment with my new one, but was told nothing available before 3 weeks. Tried to get an appointment with any doctor in the next 2 weeks. Told not possible. I was informed that all I could do was make an urgent appointment to see any doctor on the day I phone - but not today since all appointments had been taken. I have Parkinson's and can't see how I can get any help, despite being told by a recorded voice that 'your call is important to us'. I'd change to another Practice, but it seems from reviews I've read, that in Bath they are all equally appalling. Bevan would turn in his grave!

Transferred to this surgery from Number 18 upper oldfield park as the practice closed. Patients that were transferred were assured of the same care & attention we had always had from our amazing surgery number 18. Sadly, this is not the case. Receptionists are short and uncaring, no compassion and to be honest unhelpful, you are made to feel like an inconvenience. I think that staff there resent number 18 patients and make it blatantly obvious that they do. As a patient who has a close and regular contact with my surgery with on going chronic illness it has left me anxious and deflated. I have had no choice but to move to another surgery. This surgery could learn a valuable lesson from the receptionists, nurses and GPS that joined from number 18 all of whom are outstanding. I hope this is read and acted upon for the sake of other people in my situation.

Surgery used to be really good but now is chronically under-staffed and over-subscribed. Virtually impossible to get appointments any more. No chance of seeing the doctor of you choice. So disappointed in how far the service has fallen here.

Have been registered here since I was a child. These days it's unbelievable, I can't even get through now. I've been in pain and have been offered a call back if I'm lucky enough to get through and survive being on hold for 45mins. Awful and have moved.

If you want to keep your life safe, don't go here. Me and my girlfriend registered to this GP. I called several times for an urgent problem that needed medical checking immediately and nobody gave me an appointment. People on the phone were not comprehensive and didn't take it seriously at all. If you are healthy, register here. But if you have a health problem, don't go there. They really left us when we needed assistance.
