Easy to park in car park, I found on entering The Old Bell I was greeted warmly and taken to my booked table which I found clean and well presented. The menu offered a good selection to which I enjoyed the food I ordered. Staff were very attentive. Enjoyed my visit.

Visited Boxing Day, as is our tradition, and we all agreed that the quality of food and service is getting better each year. Excellent food, and loads of it too. Highly recommended.

Some of the staff were great. Others were a bit ambivalent. This may be because we arrived 5 minutes before they finished serving food at 9pm. Bar service was great. Food was OK. Its connected to the Premier in which was all to the usual high standards of cleanliness and all you need from a budget hotel.

The Old Bell is in lovely setting and we have visited several times since moving to this area from Somerset 8 months ago. 2 weeks ago we ate there for my husband's 80th birthday with lots of family and friends. Service was superb, all food ready as soon as we arrived and beautifully cooked and tasty. Waitresses were lovely , so helpful especially to our 3 year old granddaughter. So glad we chose the Old Bell for our celebrations.
