Called to get an appointment for ultrasound, I was booked in the very next day. I went into my scan 15 minutes early and the staff were pleasant. A far cry from the NHS.

Very poor prospective customer care today. Attempted to contact the Cardiff Bay Clinic this morning and despite numerous attempts to get through by phone and being on hold for over 1 hour, never managed to get through to someone to arrange an urgent appointment. Messages were left but have still had no response to these either. Had physio treatment here a few years ago but things certainly seem to have gone down hill! Even the switchboard operator was concerned at their poor service! If you need anything urgent may be worth trying elsewhere first.

Service is always friendly and if you have an appointment you are seen at the appointed time. Not cheap for self-funders (it is private medical care after all) but considering the alternative time scales it represents great value and peace of mind. Only been there for consultations so no experience of any overnight stays or on-site procedures but what we have experienced has been very positive.

Can't even speak to anyone to make an appointment. Awful. Filled in webform - ignored completely. Phoned 4 times - no answer - left message for someone to call me back. Never did get a call back. Surely, a private hospital that makes it difficult to book an appointment is not good? In the end, went elsewhere. Aren't private hospitals supposed to be more convenient? I'd have had better response from the local NHS hospital.

Fantastic care received. Very Quick diagnostic MRI. All the staff absolutely wonderful. Under the care of Mr Mohanty. He was very caring.. professional and answered any questions. Hospital immaculate .. tea and coffee facilities appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to use Nuffield again ( although I hope I won't to )

Attended the breast clinic following changes identified by myself and my gp. The clinic and the staff were exceptional. So friendly, thorough and caring, that I felt I had to leave a review. I have previously been to a similar clinic in the spire a few years back, where staff had very little patient care skills. I can't talk for the rest of the of the hospital, but would 100% recommend the breast clinic.

I booked in for a nerve block injection. I’ve had 2 prior to this one on the NHS with very good results, Lasting between 6 to 9 months pain free. But with the waiting times now for the injection on the NHS prompted me to go private. I have NEVER experienced any pain like I did under the medical procedure with Mr Mcarthy. I never experienced any pain at all with the previous 2 injections and 2 days later I am no better off! A waste of time and a waste of money. Avoid at all costs!

Had multiple appointment's which was supposed to be an 'endometriosis specialist' told her my symptoms, booked me in for an Ultra Sound examination which they thought was all okay. Then got to told to have a baby as it'll cure my condition, bare in mind I can't have children due to severe stage 4 endometriosis which she knew nothing about. Got told surgery wasn't an option as there is no cure and told me to get on with it. I have now had a second opinion off another specialist in Spire and he has confirmed I have severe endometriosis and will need surgery. Don't waste your money on this hospital , all they have done is take my money which wasn't cheap and caused me a lot of stress. Will never visit here again, dr was rude and not helpful at all. What a waste of time and money. If I could rate no stars I would. DO NOT GO THIS HOSPITAL!
