We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. All the staff were courteous and could not do enough for us. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a relaxing stay. The meals were excellent with great choices and service. The gym was clean. What a great experience. We have already decided that we'll be back next year. Thanks all.

A nice hotel, friendly staff. Good breakfasts. The gym wasn't great, but OK. Evening menu - the veggie burger was fab. Just a short tram or train into Edinburgh City centre. Very good transport links

5/ 5

The staff at this hotel are so amazingly helpful. My friend I was travelling with has some mobility issues so we had to make sure we had a specific room type. They allowed us to find one that worked for her which was very kind. Rooms are a great size, love the couch in the room, and the location to train and tram was super helpful for getting to/from city center. There's a Tesco I believe it was within walking distance, and a small fridge in the room allows for some foods to be purchased! The restaurant was nice. Prices were a bit steep? But the food was delicious. The service once you're finished and want to pay was a bit slow? But I almost wonder if that's a UK thing, and just different from Canada. Either way it's a lovely hotel. Definitely recommend!

We always stay here if we can for Edinburgh. The breakfast, the pool, the shops close by and the tram/train&bus line next door all make for an easy city break. The staff are always helpful and welcoming. Thanks again for a fab holiday. 2 adults and 2 kids in a clean and comfortable room. The extra bonus this stay was the screen casting to the telly so we could put a movie on in the evenings! Brilliant.

The over all is ok the room is a 3* Standard not a 4* it's all clean an quite nice but the restaurant is a - 2 (big fat minus). I ordered a sirloin steak it took some time before it got to my table (normally a good sign fresh made) yes it was maybe fresh made but it was cold by the time it was here. (I was very hungry so I eat it) after my Dinner I ordered a coffee and a cheesecake. Coffee was on my table after 5 min. My cheesecake took 34 minutes and was still frozen.....very nice cold coffee & ice frozen cake. Luckily I only have to eat here once next time I most definitely will not eat here again.

First stop in Scotland after arriving in Edi. Great personal reception , even while it was busy. Checked in quickly, nice clean room. Freshened up and went down for dinner. Even though I missed the last lamb, the sirloin did wonders. Received some great personal tips on where to go for our journey. And some good recommendations on the whisky selection. Absolute great facility but it is the people who make it a great place. Will come back here. No doubt.

Good hotel for family break with pool and fairly big rooms. All staff were lovely and helpful. Only problem was reception got busy so had to wait to get room key sorted as it didn't always work! Great location next to station and metro Edinburgh Park. Food was fairly good especially buffet breakfast with loads of choice.
