Staff was Excellent. Pool. Hot tub, sauna, gym, excellent. Car park is perfect an well policed. Room could use some more plug sockets and wheel stopper on the bed. It war rolling all over the place ( And he wasn’t having bow chik a wow wow ) breakfast was not worth the extra, realistically I would have paid £5 maybe but it’s a buffet breakfast so don’t expect anything amazing. The coffee machine is not great.

Good size room, very clean and tidy with a lovely comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also very clean with a really good power shower. Staff were very attentive but not intrusive and they all were polite and curtious. All the housekeeping staff also took the time to acknowledge me. Breakfast was really fresh and very well cooked with a wonderful range to choose from. This hotel is great value for money. Great Hotel, in a really convenient location .

Stayed here twice. Once what felt like a recently modernised room and once in a slightly dated room. Both occasions we had someone join us for breakfast the next day and staff were happy to help with working this out for us. With regards to the breakfast a huge selection of quality food on offer to set you up for the day ahead. Both rooms once and large and well equipped. Fantastic location for a trip round the zoo too.

I have been to better three stars Hotels, the reception were very friendly and helpful. The opening hours and the swimming sessions were not clear, I could not find the opening hours posted even on the website. We went on a weekend and we wanted to have massages, but staff were off, which i think they should not for a weekend in a four star Hotel. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly, but the food was average. Obviously the place needs refurbishment.

Deluxe double room was basic but comfortable. Needs some information in the room. Is the stuff in the fridge included in the price? (It was). Meal times, taxi numbers. How/when to use the pool and spa, etc... Room had a light out but quickly fixed once reported. Evening meals are expensive within the hotel compared to going out locally. Very good position for a zoo visit, bus into the city centre is easy.

Good points , handy for zoo , free car park, good buses link to city and staff lovely Bad points - too many to list , a sample Worst ones Had 20 rooms booked as we got married at zoo On check out over half had items on bill they didn't have Weekdays it was full of workmen who only seemed to know 2 words , F and C !! Was almost funny First time ever I've preferred badly behaved kids as fellow guests at weekend to adults in week Rooms well dated , our upgraded one was just slightly better , the executive rooms aren't worth extra , they are just decorated version of standard room with a robe ( yes 1 to share ) Drinks expensive , now on honeymoon in massively better hotel and a pint is £1.75 less Food distinctly average , think my steak on Friday was a leftover shoe sole Centre lift door wouldn't open numerous times , reported but nothing done Have a list of 14 issues for the manager , it's a dump !!! Stay here if going to zoo but I cant honestly see any other reason for stopping here UPDATE lovely email from the manager covering my complaint and partial refund obtained which I'm more than happy with The staff make this place

The place is nice and clean. Looks like it had a recent refurbishment in the dining and reception area. The only issue we had, was the food took a bit longer than expected. Other than that, great distance to the Zoo.
