We were selected at random as "guest's of the day" on check in. We were upgraded, given a drinks voucher for the bar, free breakfast, free car park and completely chocolates in our room. Staff were very friendly, food was delicious. Our whole stay was a delight. Looking forward to staying again in future.

We had stayed in another place, a will known budget hotel and had to have another night due to a delayed flight. Decided to stop here. Great value, modern, comfortable, good sized rooms. The bar had entertainment on also. Great and the staff were good too

We had a lovely stay here. We were greet when we first arrive and told we'd been up graded to guest of the day which meant we had an upgrade, a free welcome drink each, free breakfast and parking, late check out and some amazing chocolates left in our room with a card. Even without this the hotel is lovely, the beds comfortable, showers are great. There is a swimming pool which we didn't use as we had no costumes but look lovely. The bar there was very quirky. It is in a great location for central Edinburgh for sightseeing etc.

Nice stay but the price was a little steep. Location is great and only a 5 min walk from the castle. Rooms are a good size and was nice and clean. Bar and restaurant is reasonable with a lot of choice drinks wise. Breakfast was good albeit the set up was a little confused. All in all, would recommend but book in advance to secure a cheaper price

The receptionist was very good and informative when we arrived just after 13:00 and we could check into our room straight away. Managed to park in the hotel car park which was a bonus (although this was £66 for 3 nights, however is right in the centre). Lovely spacious hotel room and very clean. However, whilst we were there we couldn't eat in the restaurant on a night but could have the same food in the bar which was fine. Food was OK. Breakfast was lovely! So much to choose from. The jacuzzi also wasn't working at all throughout our stay and the pool was quite small, tried to use twice however not big enough for more than 4 people to swim in comfortably. Also, no changing rooms in the swimming pool so had to get changed in the disabled toilet which also didn't lock. When leaving the hotel it was all quite complicated understanding what we were getting charged as the receptionist didn't seem very confident. The gates also didn't open when we tried to leave the car park so had to ring reception to let us out. Overall, room was lovely and breakfast was delicious. If we were to visit again we would probably stay somewhere without a swimming pool as it wasn't really usable and to be honest there is so much to do and see whilst there we didn't really need it. Would rate 6/10.

Good location if you are in Edinburgh for more than just a Princess Street :) Hotel has an underground parking (very limited spaces) and costs £10/day even though says FREE on booking.com. Very stylish reception area but can't say the same about the rest of the hotel. Carpets need changed, carpets in the room have stains on them..yuck The pool area could do with the daily clean up not only because it is Covid pandemic but just in general.

Super nice hotel. All the staff were amazing and super friendly. Got there about 10 and we were able to leave our luggage while we explored until check in. Could also leave it after we checked out. Had a separate toilet from the shower room. Which had a bath/shower and a separate shower. Was really clean and well presented. The TV was huge and you can cast Netflix to it. 100% would be happy to recommend and we may even stay again. We didn’t use the pool. But we had a look and it looked lovely
