Jobsworthy thieves. I came in to get a certified copy of my passport, the guy happily took £12.75 for the privilege of stamping the copy I gave him, and did not tell me I was entitled to three copies. Found this out, came back for my other two copies, and explained this to the woman who happily stamped my copies and then demanded another £12.75 . Don’t come here, they will try and rip you off.

Tried to send a pair of teeth retainers and paid 40 pds only to see them delivered back to my home. Staff didn't spot the problem and refused to refund, refused to contact parcel world and did not offer a claim form for non-delivery claim. Staff at the desk two ladies completely clueless and hapless. One did make an effort to be kind the other went inside and refused to talk to me. The manager a chubby young man equally incompetent. If staff cannot cope decently with the public they should stay well hidden in the store.

Very slow service, the man and woman serving the customers could see there was a massive queue and still decided to move slower than ever with her current customer and the man let people push in the queue and not say anything, I would rather travel to a different branch in or even OUT of Abingdon to send my parcel rather than come here, the staff need to sort themselves out and have 4 at the desk! slow service!!!

Agree with the other reviews. Rude staff. Refused to do what I asked and wouldn't explain why. I asked (politely) why they were refusing to issue certificates of posting and got "because we don't do that". I asked why, so I know for future and she waved at a piece of paper which was turned around away from me, and she said because we have been told not to. It was a COVID test we were posting. Refusing to give an explanation to a customer is not appropriate, however, whatever the reason. Would be good to see some self-service machines at this post office so they can make service improvements as a self sevice machine is incapable of being rude. Edit: I have subsequently discovered that you are not supposed to take these type of packages into the post office. Thats fine. Its posted on the Royal Mail website. But that doesn't make up for the rudeness and lack of a decent helpful explanation.

Unhelpful staff, had me running back and forth around the shop (pregnant) because they are so incompetent. I noticed other customers were rude so made an effort to be friendly, but the Staff were rude and short with me. Told me they wouldn’t accept my card as it was a “credit card”. I don’t own a credit card, and was there with a mastercard debit. Left after 30 minutes back and forth, without being able to sort my postal problem. Would not recommend.

Customer service is never their strong point by why when you check post office opening times, do they give you the co-op store opening times? Not helpful!
