This shop is a gem. Often visit Porton to see our son and family , and we find the shop has a huge array of stock including a lot of co-op items. Prices are very reasonable and we have always found staff to be very helpful . Hours of opening are excellent. The village is VERY fortunate to have this amenity

Came in to store early Saturday morning & asked member of staff if they had a particular item. Staff member said he was new & I would have better luck finding it myself! At the till I was served by him again & no apology was given. Normally all staff are friendly but on this occasion chap with big beard & very long hair certainly was not. As a result I will not be visiting again.
