I was looking for a new nail salon after having acrylics done elsewhere and being very unhappy with them. The guy at nailux fixed me up good. He replaced my whole set and I was very happy with the result. I have been back twice since and plan to make this my regular salon.

The nails I received were nice enough however the lack of conversation, atmosphere and at some points rudeness would stop me from ever coming back. I have a pain condition that sometimes means my hands are a little stiff and not relaxed. Instead of being gentle and asking if I was OK the miserable technician roughly pulled me around and tutted at my stiffness.( the following day my hands were in agony) They also seemed to make up the prices on the spot and charged my daughter an extra ten pound for a design and and an extra three for mine making our total £80 for two sets of nails. Avoid this place if your looking for a pamper or treat.

I have mixed feelings about this place. They always do a decent job with the acrylic nails but everything is rushed and the technicians seem robotic. Nail files are definitely not changed often and surfaces not wiped after each customer. They also use harsh electric files on your natural nail which isn’t the best. Overall, this nail salon is a little bit cheaper than most, but get what you pay for with the lack of atmosphere and customer care.
