Excellent food but they can't do a cappuccino. If you ask for a nice frothy, aka dry, cappuccino, you get a latte. Sad to say but I've had better coffees at a Macdonald's.

The food was absolutely delicious. However, we were told that the tables outside were only for drinks and we have had lunch outside before, this was disappointing especially during covid times, as some people continue to be vulnerable. The wait to come and pick up the order and table service was very slow. We had to get up and ask. Otherwise, good atmosphere.

Food was very good and very well priced. Service for our main was a bit slow but was very busy. Great experience overall except watching 2 waiters stand in front of a social distance sign and hand sanitizer machine practicing their hand shakes then going off to serve other people without using said machine. But staff who served us were very good and helpful.

A bit of a disappointing experience to be fair. It's okay that you can't book in advance, we were prepared to wait when we were told on the phone that it was a 45 min wait. But when we turned up, there were plenty of empty tables and we got seated straight away. Bit of a miscommunication between the reception and the restaurant. We were served by 5 different people. No wonder half of our requests (water or no ice in the drink) got missed. The food quality was also okay. I think for the price we expected something more? The steak sauce was so liquidy it didn't stay on the steak at all, bunch of dishes on the menu had super elaborate names when in the end they all meant "cabbage" or something, so you have to Google half of the ingredients. Dishes don't have to have overly complicated names to be delicious. It just seemed pretentious. Overall food quality was 6/10. And at the end you have to pay at the bar. We sat outside with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

We went in for an early dinner. An incorrect drink was returned and we had to wait 10mins for it to be replaced and to add insult to injury the incorrect drink was added to the bill. The food was overpriced for what was served. The two haddock and chips were very greasy and the chips over cooked. The dish inside was soggy and tasteless. The sides were tiny and one was incorrect. The staff were young and inexperienced. At the end of the meal I had to wait for 10mins at the bar, in a crowd of people, to pay the bill as only one till was taking payments. Why? Especially in these uncertain times. The manager blamed it on being short staffed and was not very apologetic. It will be a while before we return.
