When I was sectioned here I got treated poorly, never got checked on and they discharged me after few days which I tried to take my life again. Obviously when u want to die you don't tell anyone, if these people assessed me properly then they might of seen the watning signs, instead they will just chuck pills down your throat. I don't recommend this hospital to ANYONE!!

Beware My mother was admitted as an Informal admission Patient for her own safety as she had stated she wanted to take her own life. On admission all belts sharp items were removed from her belongings. But shortly after she was given scissors and knitting needles against the family’s wishes. We asked her many times what treatment she was receiving her answer was always the same Nothing There was a meeting called going forward Where all the family’s wishes were completely ignored, it was just like we weren’t there, she was sent home for visits against our wishes. She then asks to go home and stated she didn’t want the family to be informed. In their Professional opinion they considered my Mother to have Capacity which means she can control her own life. WRONG they let her leave she said she had a lift home WRONG TWO DAYS LATER SHE TOOK HER OWN LIFE IN THE MOST TERRIBLE WAY I hope your response is not to say you’re sorry if that was true you would NEVER ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN

Awful. Negligent. No empathy, dignity or compassion. Human rights such as freedom of speech and religion and right not to be tortured, considered below 1983 section 3 of the mental health act which is based on the oppininions and beliefs of biased people and enemies in my case. (And 1 of those who created the law, was secttioned herself a few months later (1983). Had to drink my own urine in seclusion due to thirst as they left me innadequate water for my hydration needs, and the mental harrassment experienced during forced admission for merely going to Church. Said i was "making funny sounds" in seclusion. Labelled manic as a result. Reality? Using #brett_mannings @singing success program due to sheer boredom in seclusion.... Who taught #TaylorSwift and #Hayley_Williams of #paramore vocal techniques and are worldwide stars now. Just examples of what i have had to go through. #bible #christian #born #again @millview survivors

Neglectful if you're lucky..many deaths have occurred here. Bullying and abuse by patients including sexual, drugs easy to get in and out and also razor blades..it is unlikely to improve as they continue with lack of prevention, safety, understaffed and little to no after Care unfortunately many more unnecessary deaths will continue which could be prevented and don't even bother with ATS for aftercare they are a joke to the mental health care system

Anybody or their friends or relations going into Mill View please don’t worry anymore. According to the Hospital staff. Pals and the NHS Ombudsman all their issues have been addressed. REALLY !! you only have to read The Argus to realise this is not the true facts. We as a family regret the day we left our Mother Grandmother and Great Grandmother in the care of Mill View because it seems that every body concerned thought that my mother was old and disposable the only person that seemed to be on our side was the Coroner but all her findings have been ignored. So as a family we are going to draw a line under the tragic events and get on with our lives.
