Stayed at the hotel as it has Tesla charging stations. Disappointed as a ute was parked in one the whole time and management did nothing about it when reported to them. The location is the only thing going for it. It’s a very tired hotel with very old rooms. Lots of noise from the street and other guests in the hallway. No breakfast available Sunday morning as the restaurant is closed??? Booked a room with a spa bath….. which was in the living area next to the lounge and TV??? Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Was excited to stay at this place because Mercure is generally a good brand and the place seemed like it might have a bit of character being an old pub. Sorely disappointed - rooms are stuck in the early 90s and the only character in the place is a slightly interesting old staircase. Other than that, bland and dated and needs some serious refreshing - furniture in the room was broken, On the positive side, accommodation is clean, service is good as is the location and the place seems appropriately priced - fine for an overnighter if passing through town but don’t expect much more.
